Chairman
Mr. Uditha Egalahewa is a distinguished legal professional in Sri Lanka with over three decades of experience in the legal field.
His strong academic background includes two Master’s degrees, one in Law (Public Law) (LLM) from the University of Colombo and a second in Maritime and Shipping Law (LLM) as a World Bank-sponsored scholar from the International Maritime Law Institute of Malta, where he graduated with distinction and was awarded the Professor Walter Muller Prize. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Insurance Law from the University of Colombo.
In 1990, he joined the Chambers of the Attorney General of Sri Lanka and became a State Counsel and Senior State Counsel, serving for 15 years. Since April 2005, he has established a successful practice in Public Law and Commercial Law in Sri Lanka. In 2012, Mr. Egalahewa was appointed as a President’s Counsel by the President of Sri Lanka, in recognition of his contributions to the legal profession. He has extensive experience in a wide range of legal matters, including Public Law, Commercial Law, Investment Law, Employment Law, Commercial Arbitration, Insurance Law, and Constitutional Law, among others. He is an experienced arbitrator and is assisted by over ten junior counsels and legal apprentices practicing directly under him.
Apart from his legal practice, Mr. Egalahewa is a Commissioner of the Legal Aid Commission of Sri Lanka since 2008 and is a senior visiting lecturer to several professional organizations. He is also a Course Director of the Post Attorney Diploma and an Independent Director in several Companies, listed and unlisted.
He has published and presented extensively on law topics and is a sought-after academic legal expert due to his vast expertise.
Mr. Egalahewa is widely respected in Sri Lanka for his dedication to the legal profession.

Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri, Professor in Management, is the Director and the Chairman of the Board of Management of the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. He is the Immediate Past President of the Institute of Personnel Management (IPM), Sri Lanka and was a Vice President of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM). He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Price College of Business, University of Oklahoma, USA. He has almost three decades of both private and public sector experience including Unilever and Nestle. He has engaged in consultancies in over fifteen countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He is a Commonwealth AMDISA Doctoral Fellow, Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellow and Commonwealth Postdoctoral Fellow. He holds a Ph.D. and an MBA from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa. He is a Chartered Electrical Engineer, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management, UK and an independent director of several boards.

Mr. P M B Fernando started his professional career at KPMG Ford Rhodes Thornton & Company and was a Partner of the Firm. He has extensive experience as Head of Finance, holding positions of Senior Vice President – Finance of Vanik and Forbes Ceylon Group, Group Finance Director of Confifi Group, and Director Finance – Asian Region of Virtusa (An Information Technology Company based in Boston USA). Moving on to General Management Mr. Fernando was the Managing Director of Capital Reach Holdings Ltd, Director/Chief Executive Officer of Softlogic Finance PLC, Director/Chief Executive Officer of Laugfs Capital Ltd, and Chief Executive Officer of Orient Finance PLC. He was a Non-Executive Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of DFCC Bank PLC from 2013 to 2022. Currently, he is a Non-Executive Independent Director Laugfs Gas PLC, Laugfs Power PLC, Laugfs Eco Sri Ltd., Laugfs Leisure Ltd., The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC, Lanka Hospitals Diagnostics (Pvt) Ltd and Evoke International Ltd. Mr. Fernando is a Fellow Member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the UK. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Applied Science) Degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura.
