D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd recently partnered with Neth FM’s ‘Kalabala Puncha’ program, in an attempt to educate school children and their parents on the DSI’s process of production.
DSI Supersport, one of the major brands of DSI sponsored the program. Established 15 years ago, the brand has now become a leader in the market by providing school shoes of excellent and durable quality at reasonable and affordable prices to everyone. Aside from school shoes, the brand also offers other necessary school equipment such as, school bags, water bottles, lunch boxes, socks and shoe whiteners.
Children were asked to create and send in various works of art, depicting a heroic social deed they had performed: respecting their parents, helping elders etc. Twenty-four winners were selected and awarded special gift packs from DSI Supersport, while thirty-five of the kids who sent in the best creations were given the chance to visit the DSI factory in Galle along with their parents. The children were given a full tour and a hands-on experience of the quality and details that are the foundation of the production process of DSI.
Mr. Kasun Rajapaksa, the Managing Director of D. Samson Industries (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Susantha Vithanage, the General Manager of D. Samson Industries (Pvt) Ltd, along with a number of representatives of D. Samson & Sons (Pvt) Ltd as well as Neth FM were present at the event.
